The Georgetown Raiders are excited to announce the hiring of Chris Thompson as General Manager.
A native of Oakville, ON, Chris has dedicated more than 9 years to player identification and recruitment.
Previously, he spent time as a scout in the OJHL for the Whitby Fury & Haliburton County Huskies, followed by a brief stint in the BCHL with the Coquitlam Express.
This past season, Chris served as the Assistant General Manager for the Raiders.
“I’m extremely excited to be back with the Raiders. Heading into the 50th season of operation as a franchise, we have a great opportunity to build upon the great history and tradition of junior hockey in Georgetown”.
“My goal is to further develop our relationship within the community, minor hockey system, and work together to bring the Georgetown Raiders back to being one of the top competitors in the OJHL”.
“We have a young team full of talent and developing these players on and off the ice is our main focus moving forward”.
