The Raiders are thrilled to announce that defenceman and Captain Jack Guvenal has committed to Concordia University Wisconsin Men’s Hockey Program for the 2024-25 season and beyond.
Guvenal, a 2003 born defenceman from Georgetown, Ontario, is currently in his third full season with the Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Raiders. He has become a mainstay on the blue line for the Raiders in that time period. So far this season, Guvenal has scored 38 points in 49 games, 5 shy of his career high 43 set last year in 52 games played. Guvenal is a commanding force on the Raider power play, carrying the puck smoothly and efficiently into the offensive zone to set up play. Jack has a wicked shot, too, with the ability to pepper opposing net minders from any location. He is a true leader of the team, and we are beyond proud to announce his commitment to Concordia University Wisconsin for next season and beyond. Concordia University Wisconsin is an NCAA Division III program located in Mequon, WI, USA.
Guvenal is a hometown kid being from Georgetown, and the entire Raiders organization and Georgetown Raiders faithful are beyond proud of Jack for this accomplishment. Congrats, Jack!
