KINGO DEALT TO GRAND PRAIRIE

The Georgetown Raiders have dealt goaltender Mikael Kingo to the Grand Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The Raiders will receive a player development fee for Kingo.

Kingo spent two seasons in Georgetown, playing 45 games for the club. In 2022-23, Kingo posted a win-loss-tie record of 16-7-2, a save percentage of .919 and a goals against average of 2.48 in 26 regular season games. In the 2022-23 post season, Kingo posted a 3-2-0 record in 7 games played, with a .924 save percentage and a 2.92 goals against average.

Kingo was also the recipient of the OJHL Humanitarian of the Year award for both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 season.
