The Georgetown Raiders are pleased to announce that 2003 born forward Luca Rea has committed to Plymouth State University’s men’s hockey program for the 2024-25 season and beyond.
Rea, of Burlington, Ontario, scored 45 points in 55 games during the 2023-24 season for the Raiders, the best season of his junior career. Rea is a fast skater who can make plays and score. Many times this season, his great hockey IQ was on display either from finding the back of the net himself, or setting up a teammate via a quick pass or transition through the neutral zone.
Raiders General Manager Mike Dukeshire said “We are extremely proud of Luca and his commitment to continue his career at Plymouth State. We know Luca will have success next season and beyond, and we thank him for his contributions on and off the ice to the Georgetown Raiders organization.”
