The Raiders are back tonight with a battle against the Leamington Flyers. Here’s what you need to know.

Less than two weeks ago, Georgetown took the first meeting between the two clubs 2-1 in a very close contest. Georgetown lead 2-0 for the majority of that game before the Flyers cut the lead to 1 half way through the final frame. GTown held off a strong Flyers attack in the back 2 minutes of the third to secure 2 valuable points.

Expect another closely contested, tight checking battle tonight. Heading into the matchup tonight, the Raiders sit one point ahead of the Flyers in the West, at 23 and 22 points, respectively. Georgetown occupies 4th place, while Leamington sits one below at 5th place. Leamington is riding the high of a 3 game winning streak into tonight’s contest. Both teams have relatively similar goal differentials, at 8 for the Raiders and 10 for the Flyers. In terms of special teams, Georgetown holds the edge with a 28.95% success rate on the power play, while Leamington maintains a 24.59% percentage with the extra man. Leamington claims a 81.82% penalty killing percentage, while Georgetown sits at 64.29%.

All of this sets up for another exciting Raiders game tonight that you won’t want to miss! Tune into the action at 7:10PM on Flohockey.tv to support your Raiders.
