The Georgetown Raiders are back in action with two road games this week.

Tonight, the Raiders march into the Wayne Gretzky Sportscomplex in Brantford, ON, for a battle with the 99ers at 7:30PM. The 99ers currently sit at 2-3-0, good for 8th in the western conference. Their last game result was a tough 8-1 loss at the Oakville Blades on Sept. 15. Forward Evan Kojokaro and Spencer Borg sit atop the individual players stats for the Blades, having scored 4 points in 5 games, respectively. Kristian Lamanna and Luca Rea are the leaders in scoring for Georgetown, with Lamanna sitting at 7 points and Rea at 6 points; each have played 4 games. Expect a good matchup tonight. The game will be live on Flohockey.tv at 7:30PM.

Friday’s contest sees the Raiders renew ties with the squad they eliminated in Round 1 of the Buckland Cup playoffs: the Aurora Tigers. The Tigers sit at 2-3-0 and 4 points, placing them at 8th in the Eastern Conference. This will be the first time the Raiders visit the Aurora Community Centre since eliminating the Tigers from Round 1 of the playoffs back on March 17th, 2023. New Raiders forward Carter Real will also make his first appearance against the Tigers since being traded to Georgetown this summer. The Tigers scoring leaders are Ethan Lindsay (6 points) and Carter Hobbs (5 points) in 5 games apiece. The game will be live on Flohockey.tv at 7:30PM.
