The Georgetown Raiders kept the momentum rolling this past Saturday night with a decisive 7-1 victory over the Caledon Admirals at home at Alcott Arena.

This game was all GTown from the beginning. Kaleb Nelson, Aaron Andrade, Teddy Puccini, Luke Tuin, Carter Real, Brandon Kakei, and Gabriel Ciarallo all tallied a goal in this contest; that’s seven different goal scorers for your Raiders! The Raiders also contributed on special teams, burying one powerplay goal (Kakei in the third period) and a shorthanded goal (Ciarallo earlier in the same frame). Raiders netminder Finn Marshall stopped 29/30 shots on net for the Raiders in the victory. Overall, this was an impressive win for the club that marked their 5th victory in a row. The Raiders were also named an Honourable Mention in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s weekly Top 20 teams in the nation rankings! Hard work and great results are being noticed around the country for your Raiders.

The Raiders now sit in a tie with the Leamington Flyers for 3rd place in the western conference. GTown holds a record of 15-7-0-3 on the season. The Raiders have two games this coming week, so stay tuned for the preview article. Thank you for your continuous support, Raider Nation!
